I thought long and hard about whether I should even write this. Seriously. Yesterday I even asked my girlfriend for advice — should I say this publicly or just forget about it and move on. She said one thing: "This is a one in a million chance. That sort of thing hardly ever happens to anyone. Write it. Might actually help someone." So here I am writing it. I'm 27. My name's Jake. Just some ordinary bloke from London. Nothing special. I work at TK Maxx in Westfield Stratford City.If you know it — it's that massive shopping centre near Stratford station.I basically live there. One minute I'm on the till for 10 hours straight.Next I'm folding clothes that customers have trashed. Then I'm lugging boxes from the stockroom. Then tidying up stuff people messed up in five minutes. And that's pretty much my whole life. Home — work — tube — work again. I've got £15,000 of debt. Not gonna go into details or have a whinge.Part of it's from a car. Part of it's just built up over time. And honestly… living in Britain right now is proper hard when you're just a regular person. You rent a flat. You pay the bills. You buy food. You put fuel in the car.And at the end of the month you've got sweet FA. Literally. I live with my girlfriend, and we noticed something scary a long time ago — we stopped dreaming. We don't even talk about travelling anymore. Because it sounds like something totally unrealistic. Like:— "Would be nice to fly to Italy."— "Yeah… maybe one day." And that's it. Because your wages disappear before they even hit your account. The only thing that actually took my mind off all this grind — UFC. I've been a massive fan for years. And I always followed Arman Tsarukyan especially. Watched nearly all his fights.Followed him on Instagram.Saw him constantly on TikTok. And honestly — what always got me was how much his life had changed. Couple of years ago — just a normal lad from Armenia. Now? You go on his Insta and he's straight up a millionaire. Nice cars.Cons
