🔴 5 YEARS IN DELIVERY IN LEEDS AND I'M STILL IN DEBT 🔴 😤 I live in Leeds. Five years ago I did what loads of lads do. Took out a loan for thirty grand two hundred, bought a decent van and started working for Royal Mail. Thought with my own wheels I'd finally be pulling in proper money. Construction was already wrecking my back. Kept telling myself it was just temporary. Couple of years max and everything would sort itself out. Ended up just getting stuck. Now every single day is the same bloody loop. Alarm at 5am, loading the van at 6, then from 7 in the morning till 7 at night over two hundred stops. Scanner's beeping non-stop, the timer’s always on your back, sat nav keeps playing up, addresses keep changing, and it’s pissing it down as usual. One late stop and your rating tanks. Customers are shouting at you while you're running round like a headless chicken 😤 By the end of the day you're proper knackered. Back’s gone, legs are buzzing, hands shaking. On paper it looks alright — £118 to £142 a day. But after diesel, insurance, van repairs, council tax, gas and electric and trying to take the missus and kids out for a meal now and then… there’s bugger all left. You’re living payday to payday. And the loan on the van is still hanging over me like a dead weight. Borrowed thirty grand two hundred, after five years I should’ve nearly cleared it, but I’ve barely paid a thing. Still owe nearly nineteen thousand three hundred. Every month I pay the minimum and the debt hardly moves. Just spinning my wheels. Middle of February I finally got a couple of days off. Was sorting family bits, popped into Aldi and Tesco for the weekly shop. Stopped at the petrol station near Meadow Lane, filled the van up, grabbed a coffee and got back in. It was quiet, just the evening lights on. Opened my phone and started scrolling. Then a video with HSTikkytokky popped up. I scrolled past. Few minutes later — there he is again. I just smirked: “Nah, fuck that, that’s the last thing I need ri
