I Stopped Being Afraid of Cameras.

Nobody sees it. That is the part that makes it so hard to explain. Everyone around you is fine. The dinner is good. The conversation is easy. The way you have become a person who manages this in total silence because there is no language for it that does not make you sound vain or anxious or like you are complaining about nothing. Because nothing is wrong. That is what they told you. You tried everything they suggested. The detox teas were the worst of it. Not because they failed. Because they were so confident before they did. The packaging. The reviews. The three-day program that was going to change everything. You believed it the first time.
