On Saturday I left Dad an X3 on the drive with a red bow on the bonnet. 🎁🚗 A week earlier I was choosing between food and the electric. My name’s Callum Brennan. I’m 31. I live in Birmingham, in a shared house in Erdington. Warehouse days, nights sometimes too. £13.20 an hour. After tax, in a decent month I had about £1,900 left. It was never enough. Stick twenty in at least.” £20 left Lloyds. More curiosity than hope. First spins dead. Then up, then a hole again. At one point the balance was £8. I was ready to bin the app. Last spin. Bonus. The numbers moved. It stopped at £4,180. I withdrew. Twenty minutes later a Lloyds notification. In the morning I cleared the rent h
