🔴🔴 5 YEARS DOING DELIVERIES IN NOTTINGHAM AND STILL DROWNING IN DEBT 😤 My name’s Jack, I’m 34, and I’m based in Nottingham. About five years ago I did what most lads end up doing. Took out a £30k loan, got myself a van and started doing deliveries for DPD. Thought that was it — finally gonna make decent money. Construction had already wrecked my back anyway, so this seemed like a better option. I told myself it would just be temporary. Couple of years, get sorted, move on. Didn’t work out like that. I just got stuck in it. Now every day’s the same grind. Up at 5am, out the door by 6, loading the van, then straight into it. 200+ drops a day, no breaks, no breathing space. By the evening you’re completely finished. Back’s gone, legs are dead, hands shaking from rushing all day. On paper it looks alright — £120–£140 a day. Reality? After diesel, insurance, repairs, rent, bills, food… there’s nothing left. Proper living month to month. And the van loan is still sitting there. From £30k down to barely £18k after five years. Feels like you’re not moving forward at all. Just going round in circles. Mid-February I finally had a couple days off. Nothing special — just normal life stuff. Did a food shop, Aldi, Tesco, all that. Stopped at a petrol station near Meadow Lane, filled up, grabbed a coffee and sat in the van. Quiet. Just street lights and nothing going on. Started scrolling on my phone. Then a video pops up with Robbie Williams talking about some app. I skipped it. Couple minutes later… same video again. I just laughed like “yeah right… not what I need right now.” Then another DPD driver pulls up next to me. I know most of the lads around here. We start chatting. Same problems, same stress. And he goes: “Mate, I tried that app Robbie Williams was on about yeste
