I’ve been working as a Tube Technician for 11 years now, and trust me, I’ve seen a lot, but what’s going on lately has completely crossed the line. We’re grafting like b***es with endless overtime, and a pay rise is nothing more than a dream. Working 35-hour shifts without a proper break -rest is something we can only dream about 😤. Me and my mate Josh have been on strike since the 5th. The overtime, the constant broken promises from management - it’s unbearable. You just can’t live with a schedule like this. And that measly 3.4% increase won’t fix anything. We’ll get results, I’m sure of it 💪. On the very first day of the strike, Josh and I went to the pub after the protests 🍺. While the rest of us were watching the news on telly, he was glued to his phone. I asked him what he was up to, and he said he’d downloaded this Big Ben Casino app a couple of weeks ago. Turns out he’s already made nearly 8 grand from it and the cheeky sod never told me a thing 🤦. I thought we were mates! Anyway, I pressed him for the link, downloaded it, signed up, stuck in a deposit and had a go on BigBass 🎰. I’ve never tried anything like that before, and at first, I lost the lot. But then I thought, hang on, if he can do it, why can’t I? He said it took him a while to get the hang of it too. So I’ve been playing the last few days after work, trying to figure it out. Luck wasn’t much on my side at first, but I still made a bit. And today it finally clicked – I pulled in £3,000! 💷 That feels bloody good. At least now I can buy some proper gifts for the missus and the kids 🎁. Money’s never a bad thing, is it? But as for this strike… I don’t know what’s going to happen. The government isn’t budging one bit. Unlike Josh, I’m not planning to quit – our work keeps this whole city moving. What, should I just wait until I drop dead on the job? No chance.
