😱🛑 Didn’t think a quiet night in after a Tesco shift would change everything. 😱🛑 Turns out… I was dead wrong. Honestly, it still doesn't feel real. I keep checking my banking app just to make sure the numbers haven't disappeared. I’m 26, from London. I work as an SMM Manager for Tesco. My job is basically coming up with deals and promo campaigns to get customers to buy more—you know the drill. My boyfriend works at Tesco too, but he’s in the warehouse. We both graft hard, but in London, it’s never enough. After rent and bills, we were constantly scraping by, counting every quid until payday. No holidays, no nights out—just the same cycle: work, sleep, repeat. That one evening. We were sitting on the sofa, absolutely knackered after work, scrolling through Facebook. An ad popped up from KSI. My boyfriend is a massive fan—watches every video, knows all the tunes. When he saw KSI had launched his own app called “KSI Wheel”, he sat up straight: “Look, it’s KSI, he’s a legend. He wouldn’t put his name on it if it wasn't legit. Shall we just have a go?” We watched the clip and saw the comments from real people posting their wins. We looked at each other. We didn't have much left, but we decided to have a go—just with a small amount, money we were prepared to lose just for the fun of it. We deposited a bit to unlock the bonuses. First few minutes: Nothing much, just a few quid here and there. Then suddenly: +£100. We both cheered. And then it went absolutely mental. The screen started flashing, and we just sat there huddled together, watching the numbers sprint up: £500... £4,000... £15,000... When the wheel finally stopped, the balance was: £38,481. We sat in total silence for about five minutes. Just staring. I must have refreshed the page twenty times before it actually sank in. It wasn't a glitch. It was real. Since then, life has felt so much lighter. We’ve cleared all our debts, and that crushing weight of “how are we going to last until Friday” is final
