Mark
Six months ago I'd have written a sarcastic comment under a post like this. So if you do the same, I get it. 👇 I'm Mark Calder. 38. Hull. Property maintenance — the boring kind, fixing radiators and unblocking sinks in council houses. I'm not the type of person who plays online slots. Or — I wasn't. What happened was my mate's brother came to a barbecue in July. We'd known him a few years, never really clicked. He had a holiday booked to Spain that he definitely couldn't have afforded on what I knew about his job. I was a bit pissed and I asked him directly. Not nastily, but you know how it gets at the end of the day. He laughed and said: 'Lucky Spino.' Thought he was winding me up. He showed me his bank statements on his phone. Six months of deposits and withdrawals. Net positive about £8,000. Wasn't massive money. But it was consistent and it was real. Drove home that night and told my girlfriend. She said: 'You're not going to start gambling are you.' Said no. Three weeks later I downloaded it. I'll be honest — first two times I lost. £40 and £60. Nothing dramatic but not a great start. Third time I won £4,400. Since then I've played about forty times. Big wins: three over £15,000. Sessions where I lost what I put in: probably eight. Net positive over six months: somewhere around £21,000. That's not a guarantee. That's my average, doing it my way. How I do it: Put in £70 — they double it on signup. Find the busiest games on the home page (always something with 1,000+ people on it). When the balance starts dropping, buy the bonus round for £15. The bonus rounds are where the wins actually come from. I don't play every night. I don't play with money I'd miss. I don't think it's magic. But I also can't pretend it hasn't put around £21k into my account in six months. If you think this is rubbish — fair enough. I'd have done the same six months ago.
