"No! Stop! Get out of me!" I screamed when I found my ex's brother was still working in and out of my body. I only asked him to be my fake boyfriend to get rid of my cheating ex—not this! I struggled, but his ripped body held me down. His raw musk made me shiver. "Shh. You begged for it last night, remember?" His tongue ran along my ear and growled, "You stepped into my world, Katy." Before I could say anything back, the bedroom door rattled with a loud bang. "KATY. OPEN THE DOOR." My ex's scream shook the whole room. " Braydon, you’re my brother!" I went still. My heart was slamming so hard it hurt. Braydon didn't even blink. He just started again—so deep I had to bite my lip till it bled just to stay quiet. "Let me go!" I whispered, trying to push him off. Another slam. "Where you going, Peach? You wanted to get back at him, right? Then let him hear what you did with his brother." The wood creaked. "I'm gonna kill you both!" Braydon laughed low against my ear. "Then you better hold on tight." Again. Harder this time. On purpose. A cry slipped out before I could stop it. I should've been scared. Ashamed. But my body moved on its own, wanting more. He gripped me tighter. "That's it," he whispered. "Let him hear you." ———— “Hey, I’m heading over now. Can you bring out the books I left?” I press send and shove my phone into my jacket pocket as Bryan’s townhouse comes into view, my steps automatically quickening. I have Statistics in thirty minutes, and Mrs. Tompson would rather swallow a jean jacket than let me walk into her class without my textbook, the same textbook I managed to leave lying around in my boyfriend’s room. As I walk faster, I recheck my phone, half expecting a reply, but there’s nothing. Not even a typing bubble. For a moment, I wonder if he has already left, but it‘s unlikely.
