My 8-year-old son won £10,000! This is Harry – my son. For the past six months, he's been begging me non-stop to buy him an iPad, but I simply didn't have the spare cash for that kind of purchase. I wanted to wait until his birthday and get it on Klarna, as usual. But literally the day before yesterday, I was looking at the school WhatsApp group, and one of the mums posted a link to an online casino, saying she'd made some money there. I got curious and decided to give it a go. It was a casino promoted by some local influencer. To be honest, I can't even remember the name – and it didn't really matter to me. The main thing was that they were offering massive welcome bonuses, and that's what won me over. 😂 I downloaded the app, registered, and saw that I needed to deposit my own money to play. At first, I wanted to delete it – I thought it was a scam. But then curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to deposit an amount I wouldn't mind losing down the pub – £30. I got the bonus as promised. I chose the Olympus slot, I think, and initially lost £10, but then my luck turned – first I won £50, then another £120. After that, I lost a little bit again. Long story short, in the end, my balance was around £300. I was just about to withdraw the money, but then Harry ran in and asked to have a little flutter too. I thought, 'Oh go on then, have a quick spin.' I set his bet at £2 a spin. He sat there tapping the button for a few minutes while I was making a cup of tea in the kitchen, and then he came running to me because 'nothing is working anymore'. I took a look... and right there – £10,000. 😳 I was absolutely gobsmacked. I requested a withdrawal straight away. I had to quickly scan my driving licence for ID, but thanks to Visa Fast Funds, the whole £10k was sitting in my Monzo account a couple of hours later. I was over the moon! And since it was my little boy's winnings, I decided to buy his iPad on Amazon Prime right there and then. We've just unboxed
