..So, guys… I’ve been debating for a few days whether to write this or not. But I just need to get it off my chest 🙈 My name is Emma Fischer, I’m 28, and I live in Morecambe, Lancashire — the town Tyson Fury has called home for many years. I work as a cashier at Lidl. I rent a small flat with my mate Rachel. My wage is about £1,400 a month. £550 goes to rent, then bills, groceries… By the 22nd, I’m usually scraping loose change from the bottom of my bag and eating whatever Rachel left in the fridge. Four months ago, my dad needed a hearing aid. A proper one, not that cheap plastic rubbish. I took out a loan for £2,800. Didn’t even think twice. He’s my dad. Now I’m paying back £190 a month, and after all that, I’ve got about £180 left to live on. Rachel keeps saying: "Emma, you need to get a proper job" And I just laugh and say: "Doing what? I’m only good at beeping barcodes and politely explaining why a card got declined" 🤷♀️ --- And then came last Tuesday. Evening shift. It was pouring rain, the shop was stifling, and the queue just wouldn’t end. My feet had been aching since lunch. My head was as empty as a shopping bag after the weekly shop. I was automatically beeping the next item when I caught someone stepping up to my till out of the corner of my eye. I looked up. Huge. Broad shoulders. Plain dark jacket, cap pulled down low. On the belt: milk, bread, some juice, and a packet of biscuits. I smiled out of habit: "Evening! Find everything alright?" He took off his cap and scratched the back of his head. My breath literally caught in my throat. Tyson Fury. Alone. No security. Just biscuits and milk on the belt 🤯 Rachel was working the next till and was staring at him so hard she nearly forgot to give a customer their change. "You… you’re Tyson Fury, aren’t you?" I barely managed to squeak out. He gave a massive grin: "Guilty as charged. By the way, you guys have brilliant biscuits here, seriously." The shop suddenly went quiet. People star
