i was literally drowning in debt until the sea gave me a sign.. i still cant believe this is my life rn 🌊💔 guys i have to share this bc it feels so surreal.. so i’ve been working as a waitress in a small cafe by the beach. sounds romantic but honestly its hell. running around all day in the sun for pennies just to pay for my tiny room and somehow cover my debts. i came here for the summer to make some extra cash but ended up in even more debt than before.. today was the breaking point. the owner told me business is slow and he cant pay my full rate anymore. i just walked out to the pier, sat by the water and watched the waves. i felt like i was literally drowning in all these bills and no one was gonna throw me a life jacket. i had exactly €12 left on my card. 12 EURO GUYS!! thats not even enough for a decent dinner, let alone a ticket back home. i just sat there thinking im a total failure and my life is over. and then i get this push on my phone: "hey! u have 3 free spins left, don't miss ur chance" i remembered how last week me and the other staff registered on EuroMillions just for fun. one guy from the kitchen won €1500 and we were all so jealous lol. i opened the app just to distract myself from the dark thoughts. first spin — nothing. second spin — empty. i literally wanted to throw my phone into the sea bc i was so tilted. then on the third spin my phone started vibrating like crazy.. i looked at the screen and it said €17,300!!!! i thought i had a heatstroke or was hallucinating. i clicked withdraw immediately and waited for it to be cancelled or something. but no! a few minutes later the money hit my account (thank u revolut lol). i just sat there with the ocean in front of me and couldnt even breathe from the shock. now i dont have to fear debt collectors or worry about buying food. i can finally just enjoy this summer and find a normal job without all the stress. guys try ur luck while they r giving out bonuses, it literally changes everything: 👇
