🚨 "Told the missus I was working late. I wasn't." Заголовок - Name's Samuel. 34, sparky from Manchester. Wife's seven months gone, little one's five. Friday the boiler packed in. Quote came back at £1,800. We had £230 in the bank. Sat in the van after my shift, couldn't face going home with that news. Lad on site had mentioned Zeus vs Hades a while back, said his cousin had a proper result on it. Never gambled in my life. Not once. Opened it on my phone. Stuck on £80 — couldn't bring myself to do more. Don't know how long it was. Twenty minutes maybe. Reels spinning and I'm watching the number climb. Stops on £126,750.82. 💰 Sat there another five minutes. Then drove home. Told the wife straight: "Boiler's sorted. Pram's sorted. Bit left over an' all." She asked where from. I didn't lie. She was fuming first. Then crying. Then we were both laughing like a pair of idiots. New boiler in by Tuesday. Little one's warm again. ✨
