Today I tattooed "KSI Games" right on a guy’s forehead because of a bet worth almost 90 grand. Yeah. You read that right. Right on his forehead, mate. For those who don't know me: I'm Daniel, and I've been working as a tattoo artist in London for over seven years. Over that time, I’ve tattooed pretty much everything. Girlfriends' names. Exes' names. Pet portraits. Dates of birth. Kids' drawings. Once after a wild night out in Soho, I even tattooed a barcode on a bloke’s arse. Honestly, I thought there wasn't much left that could surprise me. But what happened today was a whole 'nother level. Around noon, a guy named Alex walked into the studio. Looked about 28. Totally average-looking bloke. Jeans, black t-shirt, jacket. Nothing gave away what he was about to ask me. He sits down in the chair. I ask: "What are we doing today, mate?" He pulls out his phone, looks for something, and hands it over to me. On the screen was the text "KSI Games". I look at the screen: "Yeah, font looks alright. Where are we putting it? Arm? Chest? Calf?" Alex looks at me and goes: "On my forehead." I just burst out laughing. Thought he was taking the piss. But he wasn't smiling at all. "Where?" He points his finger dead centre at his forehead: "Right here." I look at him again: "Alex, are you actually serious?" "Unfortunately, yeah, mate." And then he drops a line that literally made me almost drop my tattoo machine: "I lost a bet worth almost 90 thousand pounds." "Say what?!" And he started telling the story. Alex has an old mate, Radu. They've known each other forever and are constantly betting on all sorts of dumb stuff. Footy. Cars. Who shows up late first. Who can go a month without booze.
